Welcome to Fable to Table Farm! We are a mixed vegetable, flower and fruit farm , dedicated to organic and regenerative farming practices. Volunteering with us is a great opportunity to learn hands-on about sustainable agriculture, contribute to meaningful work, and take home valuable skills for your gardening or farmsteading journey.

What’s Expected From Volunteers

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please come prepared:

• Clothing: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for farm work.

• Essentials: Bring a water bottle and snacks to keep you hydrated and energized.

• Notebook: Bring a notebook for taking notes on growing techniques and farm practices.

• Teamwork: Be ready to join the team in the field, greenhouses, or wash/pack station for various farm jobs.

• Positive Attitude: Approach each task with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

Volunteers may assist with:

• Planting, weeding, and harvesting vegetables and fruits.

• Seeding in the nursery.

• Washing and bunching produce.

• Preparing produce for market or deliveries.

• Learning about different strategies to grow healthy crops organically.

• Learning about composting, soil health, and pest management.

• Supporting general farm upkeep and maintenance
